Master Gardeners of British Columbia is a non-profit volunteer association based at VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver. Our members come from all over the Lower Mainland & Sunshine Coast. Some live on Vancouver Island and in the interior of the province. Most of us are enthusiastic amateurs; some are experienced professionals — all of us have a passion for gardening.
We provide members with the latest in gardening information & environmentally responsible gardening practices. We share this information with the public and promote the enjoyment of gardening through a variety of volunteer projects & activities.
Master Gardeners groups are found in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and 46 U.S. states.
Here in BC there are five separate organizations: the Vancouver Island Master Gardeners Association, the Victoria Master Gardeners Association, the Summerland Master Gardeners, the Master Gardeners Association of BC, headquartered in Vancouver, and the brand-new Prince George Master Gardeners Association.
